Viet Nam, Where is the Freedom and the Sense of Humor? — Written 07/27/2013

“Vox Populi, Vox Dei!..”……..People’s Voice is God’s Voice!…….Literally!!!!…..;+)
But Viet Nam’s official interpretation is closer to the 798 AD Alcuin to Charlemagne understanding:
Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, Vox populi, vox Dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit.”
“And those people should not be listened to who keep saying the voice of the people is the voice of God, since the riotousness of the crowd is always very close to madness.”
Of course, they don’t mention that when the “voice” is supposedly in their favor………..;+)
It could NOT be more dangerous than the net used by police to catch bike speeders!……Since nobody was hurt and/or reporting it and as people witnessing it enjoyed it thoroughly……..it shows that HCMC Viet Nam’s population is smarter than its Governments……..;+)
Posted on YouTube, the 13-minute clip shows the TV show’s hosts, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee, race around the roundabout — one of city’s busiest — located at the junction of Districts 1,3, and 5 at the end of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai. ““Their challenge was to do 250 laps around the circle on ridiculously small motorbikes. “

Be sure some officials were aware of it and smart enough to stay away…….’+)

“A traffic police car can briefly be seen passing by. “

Doan said Vietnamese firms, instead of closing the doors to foreign investors for fear of being taken over, should look to improving their competitiveness.”
Are you kidding????!!!!……..;+)
