Germany’s PEGIDA & Charlie Hebdo – 01/08/2015

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

If Germany’s PEGIDA and the European “Far Right” parties win any future elections, they will owe it, in big part, to “Far Left” Charlie Hebdo’s Saïd Kouachi, Chérif Kouachi and Hamyd Mourad massacre……..

Maybe, this is the reunion of all the “Far”……….

Like they say a “Far” begets a “Far”……..

Just don’t get caught in the “middle”………..

“Beginning of December 2014, PEGIDA published an undated and anonymous one-page manifesto of 19 bulleted position statements.

  1. The first Point affirms the right of asylum for war refugees and politically persecuted people.
  2. The second Point advocates to include a duty to integrate into the German Basic Law
  3. Point 3 advocates for decentralized housing of refugees,
  4. Point 4 suggests creation of a central refugee agency for a fair allocation of immigrants among countries of the European Union
  5. Point 5 demands a decrease in ratio of social worker to asylum seeker from currently 200:1.
  6. Point 6 suggests to model German immigration policies after those of the Netherlands and Switzerland and demands an increased budget for the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees to speed up processing of applications.
  7. Point 7 demands an increase in funding for the police,
  8. Point 8 for implementation of all asylum laws including expulsion.
  9. Point 9 mentions zero tolerance towards criminal refugees and immigrants.
  10. Point 10 states that PEGIDA opposes a misogynic and violent political ideology, but does not oppose assimilated and politically moderate Muslims.
  11. Point 11 supports immigration as in Switzerland, Canada, Australia and South Africa.
  12. Point 12 states that PEGIDA supports sexual self-determination (opposing “early sexualization of children”).
  13. Point 13 argues for the protection of Germany’s Judeo-Christian culture.
  14. Point 14 supports the introduction of referenda as in Switzerland.
  15. Point 15 opposes weapon export to radical and non-permitted groups, such as the PKK.
  16. Point 16 opposes parallel societies/parallel jurisdictions, for example Sharia courts, Sharia police and peace judges.
  17. In Point 17 PEGIDA opposes gender mainstreaming, and political correctness
  18. In Point 18 PEGIDA opposes any radicalism whether religious or politically motivated.
  19. In Point 19 PEGIDA opposes hate speech, regardless of religion.

Deutsche Welle writes that PEGIDA calls Islamism a misogynist and violent ideology.

For “Fundamentalists Theravada Buddhists” Today “Zen It” May Have a Different Meaning in Burma/Myanmar( – 01/04/2015

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

Are we seeing the rise of intolerant and humorless “Fundamentalists Theravada Buddhists” in Burma/Myanmar, following their deadly confrontations with Bengladesh Muslims Immigrants into Burma/Myanmar, seemingly copying the border clashes at the Thailand/Malaysia border?

“A clash of cultures fueled by simmering sectarian tensions and social media has left a Western bar manager and two local colleagues imprisoned in once-cloistered Myanmar.
New Zealand native Philip Blackwood, 32, has been accused of “insulting religion” after he posted a psychedelic image of the Buddha wearing headphones on Facebook to advertise the V Gastro Bar.
Despite removing the image and replacing it with a statement apologizing for “embarrassing ignorance,” Blackwood was arrested on December 10 along with nightspot owner Tun Thurein, 40, and co-worker Htut Ko Ko Lwin, 26.
The V Gastro Bar was shut just two weeks after its launch in an upscale Yangon neighborhood.”

“The case comes amid a surge in Buddhist nationalism in Myanmar — which emerged in 2011 from half a century of military rule and global isolation. A powerful group of monks who fear Buddhist culture in Myanmar is under threat has emerged and is promoting restrictive and controversial laws aimed at “the protection of race and religion”.”

“So sensitive are religious issues in Myanmar just now that Blackwood was initially unable to find a lawyer willing to represent him. Riot police have been drafted in for the trio’s court appearances as supporters of the Buddhist nationalist 969 movement gathered outside.”

“David Mathieson, Human Rights Watch’s senior researcher on Myanmar, described the case as “very disturbing.” He cited it as part of an “escalation in a pattern of rising Burmese and Buddhist ultra-nationalism, anti-Muslim fervor, and creeping xenophobia.””

“You may have heard the phrase “If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him!”. “

“It actually comes from an old koan attributed to Zen Master Linji, (the founder of the Rinzai sect). It’s a simple one:

“If you meet the Buddha, kill him.”– Linji”

“You already realize that it’s not being literal. The road, the killing, and even the Buddha are symbolic.
The road is generally taken to mean the path to Enlightenment; that might be through meditation, study, prayer, or just some aspect of your way of life. Your life is your road. That’s fairly straightforward as far as metaphors go.
But how do you meet the Buddha on this “road?” Imagine meeting some symbolic Buddha. Would he be a great teacher that you might actually meet and follow in the real world? Could that Buddha be you yourself, having reached Enlightenment? Or maybe you have some idealized image of perfection that equates to your concept of the Buddha or Enlightenment.”

“Whatever your conception is of the Buddha, it’s WRONG! Now kill that image and keep practicing. This all has to do with the idea that reality is an impermanent illusion. If you believe that you have a correct image of what it means to be Enlightened, then you need to throw out (kill) that image and keep meditating.”

“Most people have heard the first chapter of the Tao, “The Tao that can be named is not the eternal Tao.” (So if you think you see the real Tao, kill it and move on).”

These “Colonization of Mars” Days “Coureurs Des Bois” and “Voyageurs” ‘Traditional'”French””Entrepreneurs”& “Logisticians” Reconversion Occurs Further and Further Away from their Ancestral Europe Planet Earth – 1/2/2015

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

These “Colonization of Mars”(“Sao Hoa” in vietnamese) Days “Coureurs Des Bois” and “Voyageurs”, ‘Traditional'”French””Entrepreneurs”& “Logisticians” reconversion occurs further and further away from their ancestral Europe planet Earth, with mixed results……..

“A coureur des bois ( [kuʁœʁ de bwa]) or coureur de bois ( [kuʁœʁ də bwa]runner of the woods; plural: coureurs de bois) was an independent entrepreneurial French-Canadian woodsman who traveled in New France and the interior of North America. They ventured into the woods usually to trade various European items for furs, especially beaver pelts, and along the way, learned the trades and practices of the Native people who inhabited there. The term is often confused with voyageurswho, rather than being unlicensed entrepreneurs were the canoe travel workers for licensed fur traders. The most prominent Coureur des bois were also explorers and gained fame as such.”

“The voyageurs were people who engaged in the transporting of furs by canoe during the fur trade eraVoyageur is a French word, which means “traveler”. This article covers the emblematic meaning of the term, which applies to places (Canada and the upper Midwest of the United States) and times (zenith in the 18th and early 19th centuries) where transportation was for longer distances. This major and challenging task of the fur trading business was done by canoe and largely by French Canadians. The term in its fur trade context also applied to a lesser extent to other fur trade activities.[1] The emblematic meaning at the time also included being a part of a licensed, organized effort, one of the distinctions that sets them apart from the coureurs des bois.”

“The voyageurs are legendary, especially in French Canada. They are folk heroes celebrated in folklore and music. As an unnamed voyageur in his 70s said to James H. Baker:

I could carry, paddle, walk and sing with any man I ever saw. I have been twenty-four years a canoe man, and forty-one years in service; no portage was ever too long for me, fifty songs could I sing. I have saved the lives of ten voyageurs, have had twelve wives and six running dogs. I spent all of my money in pleasure. Were I young again, I would spend my life the same way over. There is no life so happy as a voyageur’s life!

“Another source contains a different version of the quote and has it as spoken to Alexander Ross on the shores of Lake Winnipeg in 1825, and says that it is an emblematic description of a voyageur’s way of life.

“The reality is that their life was one of toil. For example, they had to be able to carry two 90-pound (41 kg) bundles of fur over portages; some carried four or five, there is a report of a voyageur carrying seven for half of a mile, and legends of voyageurs carrying eight. Hernias were common and frequently caused death.”

Mars is the focus of much speculation and serious study about possible human colonization. Its surface conditions and the likely availability of water make it arguably the most hospitable of the planets, other than Earth. Mars requires less energy per unit mass (delta V) to reach from Earth than any planet except Venus. However, at minimum energy use, a trip to Mars requires 6–7 months in space using current chemical propulsion methods.”

“As with early colonies in the New World, economics would be a crucial aspect to a colony’s success. The reduced gravity well of Mars and its position in the Solar System may facilitate Mars–Earth tradeand may provide an economic rationale for continued settlement of the planet. Given its size and resources, this might eventually be a place to grow food and produce equipment that would be used by miners in the asteroid belt.”

“A major economic problem is the enormous up-front investment required to establish the colony and perhaps also terraform the planet.”

“Some early Mars colonies might specialize in developing local resources for Martian consumption, such as water and/or ice. Local resources can also be used in infrastructure construction. One source of Martian ore currently known to be available is reduced iron in the form of nickel–iron meteorites. Iron in this form is more easily extracted than from the iron oxides that cover the planet.”

“Another main inter-Martian trade good during early colonization could be manure. Assuming that life doesn’t exist on Mars, the soil is going to be very poor for growing plants, so manure and other fertilizers will be valued highly in any Martian civilization until the planet changes enough chemically to support growing vegetation on its own.”

Solar power is a candidate for power for a Martian colony. Solar insolation (the amount of solar radiation that reaches Mars) is about 42% of that on Earth, since Mars is about 52% farther from the Sun and insolation falls off as the square of distance. But the thin atmosphere would allow almost all of that energy to reach the surface as compared to Earth, where the atmosphere absorbs roughly a quarter of the solar radiation. Sunlight on the surface of Mars would be much like a moderately cloudy day on Earth.

Nuclear power is also a good candidate, since the fuel is very dense for cheap transportation from Earth. Nuclear power also produces heat, which would be extremely valuable to a Mars colony.”

“Mars’s reduced gravity together with its rotation rate makes it possible for the construction of a space elevator with today’s materials, although the low orbit of Phobos could present engineering challenges. If constructed, the elevator could transport minerals and other natural resources extracted from the planet.'”

“Space colonization on Mars can roughly be said to be possible when the necessary methods of space colonization become cheap enough (such as space access by cheaper launch systems) to meet the cumulative funds that have been gathered for the purpose.”

“Although there are no immediate prospects for the large amounts of money required for any space colonization to be available given traditional launch costs, there is some prospect of a radical reduction to launch costs in the 2010s, which would consequently lessen the cost of any efforts in that direction. With a published price of US$56.5 million per launch of up to 13,150 kg (28,990 lb) payload to low Earth orbitSpaceX Falcon 9 rockets are already the “cheapest in the industry”. Advancements currently being developed as part of the SpaceX reusable launch system development program to enable reusable Falcon 9s “could drop the price by an order of magnitude, sparking more space-based enterprise, which in turn would drop the cost of access to space still further through economies of scale.” SpaceX’ reusable plans include Falcon Heavy and future methane-based launch vehicles including the Mars Colonial Transporter. If SpaceX is successful in developing the reusable technology, it would be expected to “have a major impact on the cost of access to space”, and change the increasingly competitive market in space launch services.

“Alternative funding approaches might include the creation of inducement prizes. For example, the 2004 President’s Commission on Implementation of United States Space Exploration Policy suggested that an inducement prize contest should be established, perhaps by government, for the achievement of space colonization. One example provided was offering a prize to the first organization to place humans on the Moon and sustain them for a fixed period before they return to Earth.”

“Mars colonization is advocated by several non-governmental groups for a range of reasons and with varied proposals. One of the oldest groups is the Mars Society who promote a NASA program to accomplish human exploration of Mars and have set up Mars analog research stations in Canada and the United States. MarsDrive is dedicated to private initiatives for the exploration and settlement of Mars. Mars to Stay advocates recycling emergency return vehicles into permanent settlements as soon as initial explorers determine permanent habitation is possible. Mars One, which went public in June 2012, aims to establish a fully operational permanent human colony on Mars by 2023 with funding coming from a reality TV show and other commercial exploitation, although this approach has been widely criticized as unrealistic and infeasible.”

“Currently, the American space agency is planning to put a human on Mars in 2035 – a plan that depends on the successful completion of a few different missions, as well as stable funding over the course of the next couple of decades. As RT reported earlier this month, a new study by the US National Research Council found that under NASA’s current budget trajectory, reaching the Red Planet would be unlikely.”

“Stofan downplayed budgetary concerns, however, saying the agency has received “extremely favorable budgets in the last few years” and that tight budgets have inspired innovation at NASA. She also noted that the agency’s asteroid mission – which involves capturing an asteroid and redirecting its orbit around the moon so that astronauts can land on it – is all intended to test technology that would be used on a future Mars mission.”

Jeffrey Sachs & Mikhail Gorbachev Apologetists of Russia’s Putin – 12/23/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

Is it me, or, Jeffrey Sachs is joining  Mikhail Gorbachev on a podium denouncing the West as the “perps”(“perpetrators”) in the “continuation”/”sequel”, not a “rerun”, to a “Cold War” series between the West (mainly NATO) and the traditional Communist Marxist Leninist, Communist Maoist Ho Chi Minh-ist and other Communist countries, worldwide.

In fact, to tell the real truth, there was never a “Cold War””stop”, on the Communists part, just a “communist””hiding tactic” to “sucker” the West in investing in the West own demise through the “World Communism Reconquista in China, Russia and SCO”, as most of the worldwide Communist countries, as of now, were facing “economic””political””ideological'”bankruptcies”………

When the “Berlin Wall” fell, the smartest and most evolved “ex-communist” European countries joined the EU and consequently NATO……

Seeing its plans of “Worldwide Communist Reconquista” challenged by most of the ex-soviet communist Central European and Baltic or Crimean countries, the ex-old “Komintern” Communist countries tried to regroup under the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)” under the auspices of the two (2) chancres of the new International communism, China and Russia, to try to stem off the “communist” ideology “bankruptcy” worldwide and salvage what is left over of the last “die-hard” communist countries economies trying, stubhornely, despite their internal economies disasters, to follow the marxist leninist communist economic ideology, re-christened for public consumption, as “market socialism”……

Communism, today, has only one critical economical redeemer, China exports to the West…….

China, Russia, the SCO countries and all “die-hard” ex-Komintern, “new” “market socialist” countries need more the buying power of the West economies, than the reverse…….

If the West stops to buy from China and all “communists” or “market socialists” countries, it will be painful for the West, but, survivable.

However, it would be an “economic””tsunamic””disaster” for China, Russia, the SCO countries and all “die hard” ex-Komintern, “new” “market socialist” countries “a la'” USSR 1991, and/or Viet Nam “Doi Moi” 1986……..

“Communists” are very aware of that risk, especially since the “new” “sanctions” and the “oil glut” started to really “bite” after their attempt at “staring down and scaring back” NATO, failed……

The West should NOT “flinch” or “blink” despite all the “agit-prop” creating racial or religious insurgencies among Blacks and Middle Eastern Ethnies in the West and worldwide, as well as “cyber attacks””onslaught”……

They, “All”, are “standard mode of operation” for the “Communists” that are rallying worldwide, in addition to fighting through “proxies” like “islamists fundamentalists” in Hamas Gaza Strip, Syria, Hezbollah, Iran , ISIL/ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Abu Sharif, etc, etc, etc……

So, with all due respect to Mr Jeffrey Sachs and Mr Mikhail Gorbachev, I would recommend that, instead of preaching to the West to “lower their pants”, again, toward “Communism”; this time, instead, “Communist” Russia, China, etc, start a “real””autocritique/self criticism” of their actions and really, this time, act to produce a “real””badly needed””regime change”and “structural reforms”………

If they don’t, the West doesn’t even need to use any “scarecrow” “weapon of mass destruction” (WMD), as, instead of, Mutually Assured Destruction{MAD), “Marxism Leminism Stalinism Maoism Ho Chi Minh-ism” and all the new “market socialism” countries are on the verge of Mutually Assured Self-Destruction (MASD) “self implosions”by their own hubris, mismanagement, stubhornness and delusions……..

Happy Holidays and, please, keep that hand off these ICBMs launch buttons, as, after Fukushima, people are , kind of, used to the new “Frozen” film jingle, “Let it go, Let it go:” to turn it in “Let it “glow”, Let it “glow”…….

War had an inflationary effect on WMD “disuasion””fear threshold” in the population and doesn’t have anymore the “disuasion” effect it used to have, especially with all these “suicide bombings” that end up doing as many casualties as the “NBC” ‘tactical””theater”WMDs potentially could…….

To the mistaken “communists revivalists”, the “West”, for better or for worse, is “hardened” after all the conflicts since WWII and is prepared to “stare down” “enemies ICBMs” and/or “tactical””theater”NBCs weapons, “a la” North Korea……….

The West has a word for the “communists” and “fundamentalists islamists”, “get over it” and start to adjust and improvise to overcome your lack of individual freedom, your coercive group-think and your dictatorial tendencies ………

The West is “really sick and tired” of “giving away free rides” and “having their hands bitten by the very people they feed”……..

“It’s Time For Tough Love!”-A Happy Holidays Message to “Scrooge” Communists and Fundamentalists Islamists: “Stop Whining, Get Over It!” – 12/22/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

“Get Over It”

I turn on the tube and what do I see
A whole lotta people cryin’ “Don’t blame me”
They point their crooked little fingers at everybody else
Spend all their time feelin’ sorry for themselves
Victim of this, victim of that
Your momma’s too thin; your daddy’s too fat

Get over it
Get over it
All this whinin’ and cryin’ and pitchin’ a fit
Get over it, get over it

You say you haven’t been the same since you had your little crash
But you might feel better if I gave you some cash
The more I think about it, Old Billy was right
Let’s kill all the lawyers, kill ’em tonight
You don’t want to work, you want to live like a king
But the big, bad world doesn’t owe you a thing

Get over it
Get over it
If you don’t want to play, then you might as well split
Get over it, Get over it

It’s like going to confession every time I hear you speak
You’re makin’ the most of your losin’ streak
Some call it sick, but I call it weak

You drag it around like a ball and chain
You wallow in the guilt; you wallow in the pain
You wave it like a flag, you wear it like a crown
Got your mind in the gutter, bringin’ everybody down
Complain about the present and blame it on the past
I’d like to find your inner child and kick its little ass

Get over it
Get over it
All this bitchin’ and moanin’ and pitchin’ a fit
Get over it, get over it

Get over it
Get over it
It’s gotta stop sometime, so why don’t you quit
Get over it, get over it

“Ebenezer Scrooge (/ˌɛbɨˈnzər ˈskr/) is the focal character of Charles Dickens‘ 1843 novella, A Christmas Carol. At the beginning of the novella, Scrooge is a cold-hearted miser who despises Christmas. Dickens describes him thus: “The cold within him froze his old features, nipped his pointed nose, made his eyes red, his thin lips blue, and spoke out shrewdly in his grating voice…”. His last name has come into the English language as a byword for miserliness and misanthropy. The tale of his redemption by the three Ghosts of Christmas (Ghost of Christmas PastGhost of Christmas Present, and Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come) has become a defining tale of the Christmas holiday in the English-speaking world. Scrooge’s catchphrase, “Bah, humbug!” is often used to express disgust with many of the modern Christmas traditions.”

“Throughout A Christmas Carol the personality of Ebenezer Scrooge shifts from a man who only cares about himself and his wealth to a man that cares about others. This change in personality is due to the messages of all four visiting ghosts. The first ghost, the ghost of Jacob Marley, gave Scrooge the initial warning of how a wasted life of greed, spite and selfishness towards others, such as shady business practices, meagre wages, long work hours, and unreasonable punishment, will result an agonizing afterlife full of unending torment; constantly suffering and never resting. The Ghost of Christmas Past reminds Scrooge of how kind he used to be and makes him realize how much he’s changed since then. It reminded Scrooge of the joy he once felt and could spread to others, such as his sister or wife. The Ghost of Christmas Present showed him the abundance of society and how it was not properly distributed amongst the social classes. Want and Greed appear to show that if the people are not taken care of properly, then the gap between the classes and the anger in society will grow. Finally, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come shows what Scrooge’s fate is; however Scrooge questions if it was Christmas yet to come, or Christmas of what could be. This final encounter really showed Scrooge that in order for others to care about someone, that person must first care about others.”

Do “Communists and “Fundamentalists””Islamists” really, really, really  care about others??????  :+(
We may not “understand” all these “blowing ups” of “others” by “suicide bombers”, or the “hearty warmth” of the “chilly””embrace” of a Siberian “gulag”……..;+)

“Chekism”, A View on Russia Applicable to Most Communist Countries – 12/22/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

“Chekism (from Chekathe first Soviet secret police organization) is a term to describe the situation in the Soviet Union and contemporary Russia, where the secret political police controlled everything in society.”

“According to former Russian Duma member Konstantin Borovoi, “Putin‘s appointment is the culmination of the KGB’s crusade for power. This is its finale. Now the KGB runs the country.”. Olga Kryshtanovskaya, director of the Moscow-based Center for the Study of Elites, has found that up to 78% of 1,016 leading political figures in Russia have served previously in organizations affiliated with KGB or FSB. She said: “If in the Soviet period and the first post-Soviet period, the KGB and FSB people were mainly involved in security issues, now half are still involved in security but the other half are involved in business, political partiesNGOs, regional governments, even culture… They started to use all political institutions.”

“The KGB or FSB members usually remain in the “acting reserve” even if they formally leave the organization (“acting reserve” members receive second FSB salary, follow FSB instructions, and remain “above the law” being protected by the organization, according to Kryshtanovskaya). As Vladimir Putin said, “There is no such thing as a former KGB man”. Soon after becoming prime minister of Russia, Putin also perhaps somewhat jokingly claimed that “A group of FSB colleagues dispatched to work undercover in the government has successfully completed its first mission.”] Moreover, the FSB has formal membership, military discipline, and an extensive network of civilian informants,] hardcore ideology, and support of population (60% of Russians trust FSB), which according to Yevgenia Albats and Catherine A. Fitzpatrick makes it a perfect totalitarian political party.

“Some observers note that the current Russian state security organization FSB is even more powerful than KGB was, because it does not operate under the control of the Communist Party as the KGB in the past. Moreover, the FSB leadership and their partners own the most important economic assets in the country and control the Russian government and the State Duma. According to Ion Mihai Pacepa,

In the Soviet Union, the KGB was a state within a state. Now former KGB officers are running the state. They have custody of the country’s 6,000 nuclear weapons, entrusted to the KGB in the 1950s, and they now also manage the strategic oil industry renationalized by Putin. The KGB successor, rechristened FSB, still has the right to electronically monitor the population, control political groups, search homes and businesses, infiltrate the federal government, create its own front enterprises, investigate cases, and run its own prison system. The Soviet Union had one KGB officer for every 428 citizens. Putin’s Russia has one FSB-ist for every 297 citizens.

However, the number of FSB staff is a state secret of Russian Federation., and the staff of Russian Strategic Rocket Forces is not officially submitted to the FSB, although FSB might be interested in monitoring these structures, as they intrinsically involve state secrets and various degrees of admittance to them. The Law on Federal Security Service which defines its functions and establishes its structure doesn’t involve such tasks as managing strategic branches of national industry, controlling political groups, or infiltrating the federal government.
political scientistStanislav Belkovsky also defines Chekism to be an “imperial ideology” that includes aggressive anti-Americanism.

Andrei Illarionov, a former advisor of Vladimir Putin, describes contemporary Chekism as a new socio-political order (the Power Model), “distinct from any seen in our country before”. In this model, members of the Corporation of Intelligence Service Collaborators [Russian abbreviation KSSS] took over the entire body of state power, follow an omerta-like behavior code, and “are given instruments conferring power over others – membership “perks”, such as the right to carry and use weapons”. According to Illarionov, this “Corporation has seized key government agencies – the Tax Service, Ministry of DefenseMinistry of Foreign AffairsParliament, and the government-controlled mass media – which are now used to advance the interests of KSSS members. Through these agencies, every significant resource of the country – security/intelligence, political, economic, informational and financial – is being monopolized in the hands of Corporation members.” The ideology of “Chekists” is “Nashism (“ours-ism”), the selective application of rights”, he said.

The “Delusion” of “Regime Change””Never””Ever'”Works” in Communists and Islamists Countries – 12/21/2014

or Your Entertainment (FYE)

‘Democracy” is NOT a “fanatical” “calling” or “attraction” and loses “badly” against the “enjoyable (at first) emotional experience” of a “popular””communist””revolution” and/or an “islamic fundamentalist muslim “”jihad”….:+(

Unfortunately, for “no sex appeal””democracies”,  they have to face the fact that they are the “dull””middle of the road””reasonable””moderate””establishment” on which all individual and collective life failures of their opponents are “scapegoated”, even though, overwhelmingly mostly, “democracies”, more often than not, try to “save the day” and mostly “succeed” and when they “fail” “by no fault of their own”, they are still blamed for the failures that, most often than not, are “sabotages” against “democracies”………:+(

“About USA-Cuba relations, Rand Paul, a US Libertarian Tea Party Republican (R) told Tom Roten of News Talk 800 in West Virginia that the 50-year embargo “just hasn’t worked” and normalizing relations with the island nation is “probably a good idea.”
“If the goal is regime change, it sure doesn’t seem to be working and probably it punishes the people more than the regime because the regime can blame the embargo for hardship,” he said.”

“Castro said Saturday he is open to discussing a wide range of issues but that they should also cover the United States and he stressed that Cuba would not be giving up its socialist principles.
“In the same way that we have never demanded that the United States change its political system, we will demand respect for ours,” Castro told Cuba’s National Assembly in a session that turned into a celebration of resistance to U.S. aggression.”

The USA left the “USSR” to continue to exist as “Communist Russia”. The same happened to “Communist China”, “Communist Cuba”,”Communist North Korea”, “Communist Venezuela”, “Communist Viet Nam”, etc., Shiite Islamist Fundamentalist Iran, Communist Islamist Hamas Gaza strip, Communist Islamist ISIL/ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, etc., to what positive results for the world “Democracies”?????  ;+(

In 1945, “visionary” Patton wanted to “nip them in the bud” when it could still be done without too much damage to “democracies”……..;+)

But, “wishy-washy” and “vascillating” opinions, as usual when most “Democracies” are facing “extreme” “life-changing ” decisions, allowed diverging opinions to prevail………;+)

Those same “decisions” are “subdued” and “suffocated” elsewhere in Communists and Islamists countries  when they don’t align with the official dogma……..:+(

This is true, in the cases of “Communism”, “Fundamentalist Islamism” and most other “anti-individual freedom””group-think” “dictatorial” regimes and doctrines, that “Democracy” is like an “infant'”newborn””weakling” facing a giant, sophisticated “never forgive, never forget””eradicator””exterminator” aggressor……..:+(

The West needs to work on resolving “democracy””contradictions” and understand the notion of “exceptions”, including “exceptional life threatening danger response” and remembers that “rules are meant to be broken”, especially, unfortunately,  when “survival is at stake”…….:+(

“Survival” and “War” have no laws…….:+(

Unfortunately, there is no rule in “survival”, not coming from our “cornered” enemies, neither from us……:+(

There is only a retrun to the Darwin’s Law of Nature’s “Survival of the Fittest, meaning, Strongest”……;+)

Consequently, “if we want to survive”we will have to do it “by any means necessary”, and not flinch and/or not blink………:+(

Are we ready?????……..:+(
