iet Nam New Political Cha-cha-cha, Two Steps Forward, Three Steps Backward – 12/20/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)(don’t choke on your laughing, Viet Nam is “deadly” “desperately”serious)

Of course, there are a lot of “holes” in these Viet Nam’s “reluctant” “strategic moves”…..

One of the major “holes” is  the “mandatory retirement age at 60” as most PhDs, write better and more research papers later on in their lives, as it takes time to “mature” and most valuable research, business, technology or scientific careers, take time, producing, very often, their most valuable work over 60……..

The fact that a “significant” population of “very competent””senior” Western Experts, who are already on-site as Viet Nam permanent residents cannot find work in Viet Nam despite their “adjusted to Viet Nam Labor Market””vietnamese” rates levels compensation requirements in Viet Nam Dong (VND), belie the new claims of Viet Nam lacking “talented” people, on-site, in Viet Nam……….

The first hurdle in hiring a foreigner expert is to be able to evaluate the real value of the foreigner capabilities, without making a fool of yourself,

For Vietnamese they can make “fool of themselvs”, or so they dread, either by, as often in the past, hiring fraudulent so-called “expert”, even with the official educational and experience levels required, or, by laziness in skipping the due dilignce required in investigating the candidate background, because the Vietnamese are incapable of reading English (the universal “lingua franca”, not used in Viet Nam) or, not being educated and experienced enough to understand what is written………

In addition, after the “foreign experts” have been “verified and validated”, one major issue is, really, that Viet Nam doesn’t want to hear and listen to those “foreign” “senior” Experts as those “foreigners” cannot be “manipulated” and they know where the “skeletons are buried” in Viet Nam, living there, making more difficult to avoid “real””structural””reforms” as they submit, following their real heart-felt commitment to the common people of Viet Nam, “non political” “facts based” “analyses and solutions designs” that, of course, are embarrassing for Viet  Nam people trying to refute the fact that, indeed, “the Emperor has no clothes”,,,,,,,,

Another one of those “holes” is the fact that, despite the big “fuss” about “authorizing foreigners” to own real estate, by a future July 2015 decree, the State of Viet Nam still owns  the land of these properties and, realistically, could “nationalize” the properties back, at will…….

A significant “drawback”is the lack of confidence in Viet Nam,  a country that moves like in dancing, two steps forward, three steps backward……….

It could be, maybe, called “Viet Nam political cha-cha-cha” that, usually, ends where it started, with a big disillusion to “naive” foreigners who have been “stupid” enough to believe the Viet Nam’s “propaganda”……………..

The “foreigners” are not allowed to “re-sell”, “mortgage” or “rent to others” the properties they paid for and most targeted properties (really reasonably priced) lie in the middle of “distressed” other “squattered” real estate properties reducing, significantly, their appeal and, consequently, their values, even if they could be “re-sold”, “mortgaged” or “rented to others”, which they cannot, at the present time and for the foreseeable future, despite all the “official Viet Nam propaganda” about it……….

There is a saying in the USA that Viet Nam should emulate., “if you have the talking, you should have the walking'”, otherwise, you end up looking like a “delusional””bad joke”…….’s_New_Clothes

Why “Proportional Response” is a “Fiction” and Why “Hiroshima” and “Nagasaki” Atomic Bombs Were Responses to It When the Enemies Were “Unfortunately””Relentless” and “Overwhelming” – 12/19/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)(before you “glow”)

Most people want “to forgive and to forget” offenses, even the most hideous crimes, sometimes, as prescribed by mental health practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists and most of popular Western culture, civilization and most worldwide “peaceful” religions……….;+)

Thanks “God” for the Christians “Absolution”…….;+)

But what happens when your “Enemies” believe in “Never Forgive, Never Forget” and become “Relentless” and “Overwhelming” in their “onslaught” of “murderous” “attacks”????………:+(

A lot of Japanese, in their efforts to re-write the world history to hide their “culpability” in World War II “Pearl Harbor” and later Pacific combat “atrocities” are putting the blame of the atomic bombs of “Hiroshima” and “Nagasaki” on the “murderous””genocidal” West………;+(

The “Axis”, Germany and Japan, particularly Germany atomic scientists, historically, are the “real””knowledge”and “spirit” behind the “Little Boy” bombs, that, in Nazi Germany, as it would in Imperial Japan, were considered the “last solution” of “oblivion” before “capitulation”…….:+(

For Hitler’s Germany, and, no doubt, for the Imperial Army of Japan, all believing in “never forgive and never forget”, like they demonstrated in the Jewish Holocaust in Germany and in Nanjing “genocidal massacres” were not prepared to negotiate a peace agreement and if they had had the time to develop it, would have used their “atomic bombs” to subdue and exterminate, to bring their adversaries to “oblivion” to avoid their own “capitulation”…….:+(

For whatever reason, US President Harry S. Truman “didn’t blink” ordering the “controversial” “genocidal” Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings, that in all truth, saved so many lives on both sides of the “Alliance”/”Axis” divide……..;+(

Even being an “atheist” belonging to no “church”, “mosque”, “pagoda” or “synagogue”, you can see and feel the “evil” that some people do and will not stop doing on their own, if left alone.

Until they make the mistake of attacking the “wrong” people, who will stop them, by “whatever it takes” mrans, without “blinking” so some peace can come back on earth for a sufficient long time”………:+(

Believing in “proportional response”, these “wrong” people, will start with ‘economic sanctions”, hoping this will be sufficient to “wake up” the “perps”(“perpetrators”) from their “delusions”………

But, unfortunately for the “perps”, if they don’t “get it”, it is always possible to go back to “whatever it takes” means, as necessary, “without blinking”……………

Hopefully the “perps” will wake up and get the message “loud and clear”, otherwise, the World is in, sooner rather than later, for a period of “radioactive” “decontamination” that will make Fukushima looks like child play……..

It gives new meaning to “Frozen”, “Let it go, Let it go” to become Let it “glow”, Let it “glow”,,,,,,,,,:+(

See the wolf in sheep’s skin,
Waiting in the shadows, watching learning,
Too bad I did not recognize,
The timed under toe, pulling you away,
We’re been infiltrated,
In fact by a lion, can’t believe orchestrated.

Hate spreads internal,
In this black heart of mine,
Time heals nothing, I’ll never forgive.
Hate spreads internal,
In this black heart of mine,
Time heals nothing, I’ll never forgive.

You summoned the lies,
In a search for earth peace,
With open ears and eyes,
Could you not feel?
The timed under toe,
Pulling you down, you’ve been infiltrated,
In fact by a lion,
Hold to the already desecrated.

Hate spreads internal,
In this black heart of mine,
Time heals nothing, I’ll never forgive.
Hate spreads internal,
In this black heart of mine,
Time heals nothing,
I’ll never forgive, never forget,
Never ever.
The dust has settled,
I’ll watch you drown, drown,
Drown in your regret!

The timed under toe, pulling you away,
We’re been infiltrated, in fact by a lion,
Can’t believe orchestrated.

Hate spreads internal,
In this black heart of mine, time heals nothing,
I’ll never forgive.
Hate spreads internal,
In this black heart of mine, time heals nothing,
I’ll never forgive,
Never forget, never ever.

Barnwell SC (USA) Birthplace of Chinese “Water””Rooster” “Man’s World” James Brown – 12/17/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

For Ngoai and all the women and girls in our lives…..;+)

No comments, James Brown said it all in 1966……;+)

“It’s A Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World”

This is a mans world
This is a mans world
But it would be nothing,nothing
Without a woman or a girl

[verse 1:]
You see, man made the car
To take us over the road
Man made the train
To carry the heavy load
Man made the electrolight
To take us out of the dark
Man made the boat full of water
Like noah made the arc

This is a mans,mans,mans world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl

[verse 2:]
Man thinks about little bit of baby girls and a baby boys
Man make them happy
Cos man make them toys
And after man make everything
Everything he can
You know that man makes money
To buy from other man

This is a mans world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Not one little thing
Without a woman or a girl

He’s lost in the wilderness
He’s lost in bitterness “,_South_Carolina’s_a_Man’s_Man’s_Man’s_World

Antidote and Escape  to today’s Viet Nam, “Drift Away”…..;+)

“Day after day I’m more confused
But I look for the light through the pouring rain
You know that’s a game that I hate to lose
Oh I’m feeling strange, ain’t it ashame

Ohh give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n’ roll
And drift away
Give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n’ roll
And drift away

I’m getting the feelin that I’m wasting time
You don’t understand the things I do
The World outside look so unkind
I’m countin’ on you, to carry me through

Ohh give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n’ roll
And drift away
Give me the beat boy and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n’ roll
And drift away

And when my mind is free
No melody can move me
When I’m feelin blue
The guitar is coming through and soothe me
Thanks for the joy that you’ve given me
I want you to klnow I believe in your song
Let me rhyme in harmony
You helped me along, you’re makin me strong

Ohh give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n’ roll
And drift away

Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe Majority Party Coalition Confirmed and Expanded Except for Oinawa Japanese Communist Party Win – 12/14/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe Coalition wins a 2/3 majority landslide in these Sunday, December 14th, 2014 Japanese Lower House Elections.

These 318-325 out of 475 seats victory will come handy to reform Japan Militarily Isolationist Constitution and pursue “Abenomics” and other progressive policies further.

In the meantime, the Japanese Communist Party (JCP) Electorate, under the cover of talks about “peace”, pushes a “Communist””China” Agenda of moving potentially dangerous US Marines adversaries, in case of a China-Japan confrontation, out of Japan Okinawa…….

“Seiken Akamine, a candidate of the Japanese Communist Party in the lower house election, shakes hands with supporters in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture on the night of Dec. 14, 2014, after being elected in the Okinawa No. 1 constituency. Akamine drew wide support from voters by opposing the central government’s plan to relocate a major U.S. military base in the southwestern prefecture.”

“Unbroken” Controversy, the “Unfortunate” Xenophobic Japan Refusal to Face Its History – 12/14/2014

or Your Entertainment (FYE)

“Angelina Jolie’s new movie “Unbroken” has not been released in Japan yet, but it has already struck a nerve in a country still fighting over its wartime past.
And the buzz on social networks and in online chatter is decidedly negative over the film that depicts a U.S. Olympic runner who endures torture at a World War II prisoner-of-war camp.
Some people are calling for a boycott of the movie, although there is no release date in Japan yet. It hits theaters in the U.S. on Dec 25.
Others want that ban extended to Jolie, the director — unusual in a nation enamored with Hollywood, especially Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt, who both have reputations as Japan-lovers.
The movie follows the real-life story of Louis Zamperini as told in a 2010 book by Laura Hillenbrand. The book has not been translated into Japanese, but online trailers have provoked outrage.
Especially provocative is a passage in the book that refers to cannibalism among the troops. It is not clear how much of that will be in the movie, but that is too much for some.
“But there was absolutely no cannibalism,” said Mutsuhiro Takeuchi, a nationalist-leaning educator and a priest in the traditional Shinto religion. “That is not our custom.”
Takeuchi acknowledged Jolie is free to make whatever movie she wants, stressing that Shinto believes in forgive-and-forget.
But he urged Jolie to study history, saying executed war criminals were charged with political crimes, not torture.
“Even Japanese don’t know their own history, so misunderstandings arise,” said Takeuchi, who heads his research organization, the Japan Culture Intelligence Association.
Hollywood films that touch on sensitive topics for the Japanese have had a troubled history here.
Theaters canceled screenings of the Oscar-winning 2009 “The Cove” about the bloody dolphin hunts in the town of Taiji after the distributor was deluged with threats from people who said the movie denigrated the “culture” of eating dolphins although most Japanese have never eaten dolphin or whale meat.
Roland Kelts, a journalist and expert on Japanese culture, called the outburst over “Unbroken,” like the frenzy over “The Cove,” ‘‘banal and predictable.”
“None of them have even seen the film, and while it is based on one man’s story, it’s a feature, not a documentary. There are plenty of movies that depict the brutality and inhumanity of war,” he said.
“Unbroken” portrays the story of war hero Zamperini, played by Jack O’Connell, who with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a plane crash, only to be caught by the Japanese and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.
Jolie said recently on a promotion tour in Australia that she wanted to depict a human story, one that gives hope, noting that war “brings out the extremes,” both the good and the bad, in people.
Japan has not always been averse to Hollywood portrayals of World War II.
Clint Eastwood’s 2006 “Letters From Iwo Jima,” which focused sympathetically on a gentle commander, played by Ken Watanabe, was favorably received here.
Japanese directors have made their share of movies critical of war. Akira Kurosawa made “No Regrets for Our Youth,” as well as “Ran” and “Seven Samurai.” Kihachi Okamoto’s “The Human Bullet” and Kon Ichikawa’s “The Burmese Harp” relay powerful anti-war messages.
But the release of “Unbroken” comes at a time some in Japan are downplaying the country’s colonization of its Asian neighbors and the aggressive act carried out by the Imperialist Army during World War II.
For example, some politicians dispute the role of Japanese soldiers in the Rape of Nanjing, which began in 1937, in which 300,000 Chinese were killed. They say that is a vast overcount.
Similarly, they reject historical studies that show women from several Asian countries, especially Korea, were forced into prostitution by the Japanese military. ”

“Unfortunately war denial is a part of the Japanese repertoire when it comes to history. Whatever glorifies their history, they love to accept and whatever makes them appear the opposite is quickly denied, but to some extent. But i do think we are all guilty of that to some extent. I am sure that shintoist priest is guilty of that, but here is something that is in Wikipedia. Believe it or not. It all REALLY depends on what you would like to believe. Most of it comes down to what you really want to believe. I am not sure if it is true or not. Should it be dismissed? If a General’s supplies are cut off does he turn to cannibalism to survive? I have no idea. But if you are in war and have seen all kinds of hell and want to survive, it does seem like the most likely alternative. Anyway, here is what was written in Wikipedia.”

“Many written reports and testimonies collected by the Australian War Crimes Section of the Tokyo tribunal, and investigated by prosecutor William Webb (the future Judge-in-Chief), indicate that Japanese personnel in many parts of Asia and the Pacific committed acts of cannibalism against Allied prisoners of war. In many cases this was inspired by ever-increasing Allied attacks on Japanese supply lines, and the death and illness of Japanese personnel as a result of hunger. According to historian Yuki Tanaka: “cannibalism was often a systematic activity conducted by whole squads and under the command of officers”.[105] This frequently involved murder for the purpose of securing bodies. For example, an Indian POW, Havildar Changdi Ram, testified that: “[on November 12, 1944] the Kempeitai beheaded [an Allied] pilot. I saw this from behind a tree and watched some of the Japanese cut flesh from his arms, legs, hips, buttocks and carry it off to their quarters … They cut it [into] small pieces and fried it.”[106]
In some cases, flesh was cut from living people: another Indian POW, Lance Naik Hatam Ali (later a citizen of Pakistan), testified in New Guinea and stated:
“… the Japanese started selecting prisoners and every day one prisoner was taken out and killed and eaten by the soldiers. I personally saw this happen and about 100 prisoners were eaten at this place by the Japanese. The remainder of us were taken to another spot 50 miles [80 km] away where 10 prisoners died of sickness. At this place, the Japanese again started selecting prisoners to eat. Those selected were taken to a hut where their flesh was cut from their bodies while they were alive and they were thrown into a ditch where they later died.”[107]
Perhaps the most senior officer convicted of cannibalism was Lt Gen. Yoshio Tachibana (立花芳夫,Tachibana Yoshio), who with 11 other Japanese personnel was tried in August 1946 in relation to the execution of U.S. Navy airmen, and the cannibalism of at least one of them, during August 1944, on Chichi Jima, in the Bonin Islands. The airmen were beheaded on Tachibana’s orders. Because military and international law did not specifically deal with cannibalism, they were tried for murder and “prevention of honorable burial”. Tachibana was sentenced to death, and hanged.[108]
Should these things be discounted?”

“I just recently reviewed Ichikawa’s Nobi, which depicts cannibalism as well as the general depravity of war. Perhaps the best anti-war film ever made. No such cinema can be seen by the youth of today, enraptured by zero fighters and the wonderful ascetics who flew above the squalor on the ground.

The evidence of cannibalism has been around ever since the war. See Wiki and its source material:

The New USA “Frozen””Spirit”,…. “Let It Go” – 12/14/2014

For Your Entertainment (FYE)

The “World” may “hate” the USA, the “Tent Cities” are multiplying, the light at the End of the Tunnel, more and more, looks like an incoming train, BUT, All in All, the New USA “Frozen””Spirit” prevails,….. “Let It Go”…….;+)

Happy Holidays, “anyway”………;+)

“Let It Go”

“The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation,
And it looks like I’m the queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried!

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know
Well, now they know!

Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door!

I don’t care
What they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway!

It’s funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all!

It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me I’m free!

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You’ll never see me cry!

Here I stand
And here I’ll stay
Let the storm rage on!

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I’m never going back,
The past is in the past!

Let it go, let it go
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone!

Here I stand
In the light of day
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway! “
